It's time to pack Seavo away into his bag

The beloved orange tractor.

And so, the dismantling of Seavo begins. Wes has kindly offered to help as he has much experience. Much to do.

The S&S couplers are the easy part….now for all the details.

The front half is in and secured to the bottom of the bag.

It is looking promising. I am putting parts in the provided bags.

After all the clean up from Barry’s thumb being eviscerated by the bare chainring, he is ready to get back to it. The problem he had was that the coupler was very tight and as he tried to loosen it with the coupler wrench, his hand slipped. A messy, painful injury.

It is a stormy day with very high winds. The cows are heading back to the barn.

Contented cows back in their cosy stable.

Now that Seavo is packed in his bag, we are basically bikeless. Wes and Rineke offered us the use of their bikes to go for a final ride. Mary Ellen discovered that her knees do not like an upright bike…it has been years since either of us have ridden uprights. The final straw was when she tried to dismount and her knee popped out of position. Barry went on a solo ride and Mary Ellen relaxed and read.
