I wonder if that would be effective in horizontal rain, like we get in southwest BC in the winter.

10 months agoThat bag sounds interesting, although our Seavo is not coupled. We had a hard sided case that fit our Screamer which did have couplers. We only flew with that tandem a few times in the US and despite the hard case, had damage to the wheels a couple of times. We're no longer touring since we bought an Airstream trailer and are only doing day rides. But I love reading about your travels!

10 months agoWelcome back to HOME. Thank you SO much for all of your travels which were a pure delight to read. I will be in the Netherlands heading on a bike to Germany the first week of September. Hoping not to repeat your washouts and winds !

10 months agoAha! But will they GROW at home? Mine from Keukenhof never bloomed. Big disappointment. I think the flowers know they are not in their âown soilâ..;)

We had to do that too; they sure don't make it easy. Then, when they changed our flight, our bike registrations weren't automatically changed as well.
10 months agoHowever, while the bike fee is higher than Air Canada's $50, it is still much lower than Lufthansa's was. It seems Lufthansa has recently changed their bike policy but we haven't tested it.
