IN reading a few forums it looks like it is possible for some Croation ferries to be sold out. Seeing as we know our plans for accommodations, I went ahead and booked the ferries we need: Split to Dubrovnik, Orebic to Korcula, Korcula to Hvar, and Stari Grad to Split.

Our flights take us in and out of Split, so we need a means of getting from Split to Dubrovnik where the cycling will start. Our options: bus, Uber or ferry. Buses take bikes IF the driver allows. The ferry WILL allow them, and what better than a boat ride with views of the dramatic landscapes? Islands and coastal mountains to the max.

With less than seven weeks to go, we're another step closer.
