Ive been riding recumbents since around 2002.   A few years ago, wanting to tour self supported, I bought a used Surly Ogre I call Shrek. I have toured NE Iowa and DesMoines, the GAP/C&O, Natchez Trace, and home to Minnesota. This year is also my 15th RAGBRAI. I completed a cross US ride this year from Seattle to Eastern Shore Maryland and have a journal documenting each day.  Hope you enjoy the read.
