About

After I've ridden through the Flinders Ranges in 2013

My great grandfather was a member of the Cricklewood Cycling Club, London.

A native from an obscure and isolated city at the bottom of the planet I've loved cycling all my life, from riding to primary school when I was 8 years old to cycle touring as a grumpy old man. Cycling is freedom on two wheels and I love getting on my bike at any opportunity. I ride with the local cycle touring club (Cycle touring Association of Western Australia) and a group of friends called the Wildhogs on the weekends and cycle to work whenever possible. I enjoy reading other cyclist's journals from around the world. Thankfully I have a lovely wife and son who understand my desire for the freedom of the road.
