Weekend cyclist.  Map enthusiast.  Steadily converting my entire wardrobe to merino wool. Managed to eke out two tiny tours in 2023—one micro-tour (two days) and one mini-tour (six days).  Waiting for retirement so I have time to do a long tour.  In the meantime, I enjoy reading the journals posted here.  I just need two more bikes, and then I won’t want any more, I swear.  Let me know if you’re passing through central Iowa.
