At age 22 I rediscovered my love of biking. Never riding more than a quarter mile away from my childhood home, I realized in adulthood “there’s no rules!” and decided to brave the city streets.

Years pass, and despite a nasty cycling wreck (landed me in a trauma unit for a few days with many broken bones) my road/city biking confidence grows so I decide to sell my car to commute solely by bike. 

Summer 2022 I set out on my first bike tour around my home state of Kentucky… with a pit stop in North Carolina.
