About
Pleasure to meet you! My name is Jeremy. I hope you derive as much happiness from reading my blog as I have from writing it.
I dove headfirst into bike touring in 2016 when I spent the summer traversing 4,558 miles from Astoria, OR to Yorktown, VA on the TransAmerica Trail. I've since ridden from Panama to Ecuador and also completed the full length of the Pacific Coast Bike Route and Idaho Hot Springs Mountain Bike Route. These rides are in addition to numerous shorter tours around the San Juan Islands, lower mainland of British Columbia, and California. A lifelong goal of mine is to slowly piece together the full length of the PanAmerican Highway from the Arctic hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk, NWT to Ushuaia, Argentina.
I work as a speech language pathologist in a public adult transition school program with young adults with disabilities. Aside from bike touring, I enjoy running, photography, and piano.
