I've enjoyed cycling for most of my life, and have always had a few bikes cluttering up the garage. A random encounter with a touring cyclist a few years back sparked my interest in touring. That spark led to me obtaining a touring bike and some panniers. Since then I've discovered that the freedom and independent movement of bicycle travel very much appeals to my senses.
