Hello! My name is Kurt Sahl and I live in Seattle, WA where I have been retired for one year. For most of my life, I have been a bicycle commuter, errand fetcher, vacation rider, participated in very short tours, and enjoyed riding in many different parts of the world. After I retired April 2025, I hopped on my bicycle, told my wife I was going on a bicycle ride, and came home six weeks later. I completed the West Coast Route, which was my first significant, long tour. I met incredible people and enjoyed every minute of the ride. Well, almost every minute. As with everyone else who has a journal on CycleBlaze, I am hooked! Who knew that something a seven-year old did for fun would be just as fun, if not more, many, many decades later? Ride on!
