Al and I are a senior couple who live near Kootenay Lake in the mountains of British Columbia. Cycling around our scenic and hilly local area is a pleasure and good training for touring. Since purchasing Bike Fridays in 2009, we've enjoyed cycle tours in France, the Netherlands, Mallorca and southwest England, as well as in British Columbia and Quebec. We find that planning the tours adds immensely to the experience, and writing them up afterwards is a great way to enjoy them again.
