I am an aging resident of South Australia's Mid North. my early background was in bushwalking but I made the crossover to cycle touring in about 2010. I'd done cycle touring before but gave up when family came along. I'm not one for doing heroic distances in a day, we have cars, trains and buses for that. I prefer to cruise at a steady pace and find a camp before dark. I've done quite a few tours in Australia as well as United States and Europe.
