My husband Gerald and I did our first cycling trip in Burgundy 2015 with the encouragement of some friends and have been cycle touring wanabes every since.  We live near Orange NSW in Australia, and have a small vineyard, winery, and tasting room that has been keeping us busy. We are leaning into retirement and hope to do more lengthy cycle touring in the future.

We have done some short cycling trips when the grapes are dormant in Oz, which coincides nicely with warm weather in the northern hemisphere. Some of our cycling trips were guided, some self-guided and some places we planted ourselves in a spot and did day trips. In 2019 we cycled in Glacier National Park in Montana, then into Canada around Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise. When we finished that, we rented a car and drove to Vancouver Island where we came across the Grampies on a ferry. Gerald had a great chat with them, asking all the standard questions (thank you for your patience Steve and Dodie) and then they gave us a little slip of paper with the cycleblaze details.  I have been following the cycleblaze adventures since then and love it! Thank you cycleblazers for the time and effort you put in recording your trips.
