We visited an Oberlin College friend of Ken's,  Jacquie Lowell.  Had a picnic at the Diocesan Pastoral Center (a former Catholic Convent) with views of La Jolla and the ocean.

We heard a new ringing sound from the front wheel during our ride today. Finally figured out it was the brake cable cap rubbing on the edge of the  rotor...easy fix!  Did some adjusting of my bike seat and we think we are ready for Day 1.
