Over the Border to Ontario
Port Huron to Port Stanley
it was cold this morning. Crossing the bridge from US to Canada requires some planning as bikes are not allowed on the bridge. The solution: rent u-haul trailer, load luggage and bikes into it, load people onto the van and, voila, we’re set to drive into Canada. Then a90 mile trip to Port Stanley’s on Lake Erie. We were offered the option of getting out of the van with bikes for 99 mile ride. No one opted for that. Second option was to get out of the van with bike for a70 mile ride. Final option was a40 mile ride. Ask but John and I opted for that. We were cold and opted continue our ride to Port Stanley and the ride in the afternoon there. It worked out well. We helped with g luggage and delivering the van too U-Haul in Port Stanley. It was good to have some time visiting with Ken.
The others had a good ride. It warmed up, was sunny, and they enjoyed it.
