Just what we feared. It was heavy rain and 50 degree temps all day.  The route was pretty rural with nowhere we could hide if the rain got really heavy so - dreaded word - SHUTTLE.  We got  the rental car back from the airport - it seated seven-  loaded the bikes and luggage into the 15 seat van we have as the support vehicle - it can handle all that with the seats down, and headed along the Mississippi from LaCrosse to Boscobel. Tomorrow it's back on the bikes at last!!! Good weather slated for the week. Yay!
