Final Ride in Michigan - Imlay City to Port Huron

A good mix of Country and Trail

it was a cold but clear morning. Brrrr!!! The ride started with 27 miles of road. Good shoulder, low traffic, smooth pavement. It was really pleasant! Then a great lunch put out by Ken. The regular cheese, cold cuts, cut fruit, bread, mayo, p want butter, Nutella, jelly, greens, chips, and for special treat chocolate milk and a yummy chive salad. It’s always a great roadside spread when we eat from the support vehicle.

Then back o on the bikes for thirteen miles of rail trail. The first half was unpaved but good surface and the second half was good pavement! A great way for a final ride in Michigan. Tomorrow is a day of bikes then it’s on to Canada!

At lunch the Duxbury crew. John, me, and Sharon all come from Duxbury Vermont.

This was an amazing trestle - so high we felt like we were in the tree tops! It was….. long.
