Crossing Lake Michigan

3 hour ferry ride

Last night we met George our chef at the Thai restaurant. He came out to our table to see how we liked our food. It was good! But way too much. We should have shared orders. He was cute and friendly!

And this was old Victorian mansion B&B where we spent the last two nights.

And now for today. We had a short seven mile ride to the ferry which we had to be at at 11:30 a.m. so on our way we stopped at the Bobblehead Museum. 10,000 bobbleheads.

This was only one or many sections. It was so fun!!!

We could have stayed way longer but had to get on to the ferry.

Then a we could watch the Lake Express coming in.

It was interesting watching the captain bring the boat in and sort of parallel park it,

And finally on the boat.

Goodbye Wisconsin! A beautiful state; very bike friendly!

John and I went out to dinner.

Meet Ryan , a really nice young man who both bar tended and waited on tables. He also has a farm in Urbana which he hopes to run full time and maybe get away from waiting tables. We enjoyed meeting and talking with Ryan.
