Another really nice ride
Comstock Park to Greenville
I do enjoy riding in the Midwest. More good county roads and miles on bike trails. Michigan seems to have paved many of them. E rode through forests, farmland, and some small towns.
The Fred Meier Heartland Trail along the Flat River into Greenville was especially nice. The Velcro strap that holds my water bottle cage sort of disintegrated (many miles of use) and the whole thing fell off my bike so when we got into Greenville we sought out a bike shop where Mike fixed meet up.
We stayed in The Winter Hotel est. in 1905. Great lunch, nice bar for late afternoon beer, and very pleasant old style rooms.
