41 miles on the Erie Canal

Lockport to Brockport

Forty-one of the 46 miles today we’re on the Canal. It was a good day weathered but quite hot. In the 90s by afternoon. We had a good lunch break at mile 42. Jill had set up the spread in a roofed open porch right on the trail where a road intersected with it. It was cool and comfortable. Everyone but Nancy made the stop. 

The bridges all sport at least an American flag.

This looked like wheat but it was awfully bright yellow.
