No RWGPS pix as there was no wifi to safe it.

Cumulative 131

Avg speed 10.6

We ended up at a place with no wifi and so no update. Might have done it yesterday but was too tired.

We had quite a pleasant ride from Concrete to Newhalem.

This is not unusual. Lots of mini land slides due to steep hillside and unconsolidated earth.

It drizzled off and on but was ok. The roads off of Rte 20 were quiet and rural.Rte 20 , for the most part, was pretty good. Good shoulder moderate traffic. Once we hit Newhalem though the train track we were semi following ended and we climbed. Out of my seat and out of my breath more then a few times.

A side road led us to these moss covered trees.

A typical roadside beauty.

Interesting camping at CC. It's National Park Service (NPS) using an honor system.  Almost all sites are a short, like 50 feet, from where you might park a car ( there are some Rv spots).  Sites are spacious but easily within sight of your neighbor. In the morning the deer checked out the sites before most awake.
