Stanford to Lewiston

Starting out things didn't look to promising. Weather reports were for strong head wind s and thunder and lightening. We'll we got the headwinds but not much of the latter. All the of us called an early day due to wind.

This is in response to a conservation group trying to create a considered plains that would eventually be 300 Sq miles (I think). This is in part to regenerate the bison population

Across the street, a Carnegie library. The upstairs room has original woodwork. Excellent craftsmanship.

Out tent sites at a Kiwanis sponsored park.

That gave us the chance to check out town. Which was fun. Lots of nice buildings. Seems the town is rebounding slowly from some tough times.
