Hah, man plans, God chuckles. Originally it was supposed to rain yesterday afternoon and this am. That was pushed back a day. We however, got a motel room for the night hoping to stay dry. We'll we did stay dry. Today should be short and easy. Lots of our destinations are based on where we can get electric for Tina. Our choices today are going short, 26 ish, or long with a hill climb, 75 ish. It was decided marital relations were better with a short day.
Today's ride had has about 2/3 of the time on side roads. Really nice. Rode along side the Okanagan River. We were hard up against the rock cliffs sometimes but mostly we had some fields between us. Lots of orchards again today. Trying to figure out where the water for all that fruit comes from. There was a project that started out in 1905 ish

created a series of canals with water coming from the salmon Creek basin. Not sure that's all of it.
For quite the while, we have seen the presence of Native Americans (NA) along the way. Some of it for reservations (Omak has one) and many NA casinos. Just not something we see much of in VT.
And yesterday we saw what seemed to be a bunch of day labor hanging out at a couple of the motels (ours included). They were brought here in a van that had some forestry logo on it. Sarah thought they may be sponsored workers to provide seasonal help.
Today's ride: 30 miles (48 km)
Total: 271 miles (436 km)
