So we decided on the alternate route the ACA has. The advantage is, it is a much quieter route, a bit longer ( ok not an advantage) and a bit less steep. Still all there. What a great decision. For the most part. Very quiet roads with the usual visual wonders.

It was tough first 20 miles as it was up hill. But the next 20 were down hill with the following 24 kind of downhill.

This is what the ride up the first 20 miles looked like

The road was quiet and incredibly fun, especially downhill

Unfortunately, the wind was a fickle friend today and went from head to tail to side with some frequency. At the end of the day it was a straight on head wind. Ouch. Worse for Tina, she thought we were going 56, not 64. And then she gets a head wind on top of it.

This seemed a little random but a great thought.

We stayed at a very nice private camp ground called Curlew RV Camping and Mini Storage. Not many people but lots of grass and some trees.
