Day 71: Rest day.

My rest day was pretty quiet and restful.

I went for a ride around the very quiet and empty streets of Townsville.

This is Castle Hill at the back of Townsville. I thought about climbing the hill for the view and my lazy body decided against it.

This picture was done by the same person who did the kangaroo picture on Day 69 Guthalungra, N Bidju Pryor.

Most shops were closed. The Maritime Museum of Townsville was open. It was a moderate size and had lots of interesting models and exhibits.

This is a Jukong vessel. It was used in the coconut industry in Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

It's a wonderful island in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

Serena and I were married there!

In the afternoon, I was reading in the camp kitchen.

This is the ceiling of the camp kitchen.

A gecko is hiding in the cracks.

He pooed on my arm!

At least I wasn't cooking.

Later, without any negative experiences from geckos, I made dinner.

Dinner was chicken and corn soup with extra veggies.

Today's ride: 15 km (9 miles)
Total: 3,450 km (2,142 miles)

Annie O'SheaLoving the model ships really ace. Not so big on your dinner but glad you enjoyed without being pooped on again hahahahaha
