The rain came
Albury rest day
It rained. We watched endless games of European Champions League replays. We had bacon and eggs for breakfast. Then we had a coffee.
I feel like the trip proper starts tomorrow. We’ve had to change our route several times and whilst the scenery and roads have been great, it feels like we’ve done a bunch of day rides. I really like riding with a destination in mind and getting there. That’s what happens from tomorrow.
We’ll leave the car and trailer in Albury and ride self supported to Melbourne over the next week and then catch the train back to Albury. Hopefully the worst of the weather will pass overnight and whilst I still expect to get wet tomorrow hopefully it won’t be a drenching. Chris also heads back to Sydney but might ride out with us in the morning.
