A late-winter hiatus
It was recently brought to my attention that I haven’t updated this blog for several days. A true statement - I lost blogging steam midway through our second week at Stacey’s, and haven’t found it again. In fact, I’m taking a blogging break for a spell and will likely stay on break until Rachael and I are preparing to depart on our next ‘real’ tour: a two month journey through Greece and Southern Albania, beginning in late April.
There are several reasons why I’m stepping out on temporary leave: life is pretty hectic now, with our days chopped up by screenings at the film festival; the weather is pretty inclement now, rotating between alternating spells of snow, ice and rain; and we’re coming to the end of our personal saga of moving from our home in preparation for a life mostly spent on the road on our bikes.
Mostly though, there’s little biking going on right now, and certainly nothing that you could classify as touring. There really should be some touring going on if I’m going to keep posting in here. Time to move on for awhile, but we’ll be back soon enough. In the interim, if you’re curious about what we’re up to you could check in on us at Biking Over the Hill or Cycle 365.
We’ll see you in two months - come join us in Crete! We are so ready!
