Day 133 - DRIVE - Missoula, MT to Rexburg, ID

I wasn't going to post anything on this driving day, but the trip from Missoula to Rexburg was so amazing, I had to share a few.

We drove through the Bitterroot Mountains. The views in Montana were nice, but once we got into Idaho, it was really gorgeous. There were very few towns along the route so we had lots of unblemished mountain vistas.

South of Lewisoton, we began to climb, reaching 7000 feet in elevation before descending back down.

The hills rise very abruptly from the valley. There were scattered homesteads, farms and cattle ranches along the way.

As we went farther south, the valley got wider.

Tomorrow's destination is Rock Springs, WY
