We said goodbye to Ken and Francie this morning and started our drive east.  It was a great visit with the Gass's and we had a really good time with them.  They are fellow CycleBlazers.  You can find them here: Gass-powered Tandem: xcountry .  We drove to Wenatchee, which calls itself "The Apple Capital of the World".  I don't think that's an exaggeration.  We passed miles and miles of large apple orchards on the way.  Again, no pictures on this travel day.
