Day 049 - Angola, IN to Marshall, MI

Fewer miles, slightly flatter terrain and slightly cooler (mid 80's instead of low 90's) made for a much better ride today. There's not really much to say today, so the pictures tell the story.

Steuben County Courthouse in Angola, MI.

Angola town square or, more correctly, town circle. The monument is impressive and dominates the center of town.

The grounds surrounding the monument were immaculate.

Each corner of the circle was filled with small businesses.

Bike and Soul is a nice bike shop located on one side of one of the corners of the square which surrounds the circle.

Different day, different state. We'll spend more time in MI (21 days) than in any other state on this trip.

Historic old US-27. Low traffic volume AND a shoulder!

I passed several lakes similar to this one today.

Another red barn. It was the old silo that caught my eye.

Best silo to date! I don't know if it's ivy but, whatever it is, it's taking over.

Little River Railroad at Coldwater. According to their website, it was supposed to be open today. The website lies. :-)

Tomorrow's destination is St. Johns.
