Day 032 - Rest Day

Today was much the same as yesterday...- Get up early for breakfast, hang out in the room to around noon, go out to see the sights, and then return to the room for a relaxing evening. If you like something and it works, why change it??

We started out our sightseeing by returning to the Visitors Center. It was not nearly as crowded today.

A very large relief map of the battlefield. If gave one a good overview of the area.

Gutzon Borglum, of Mount Rushmore fame, sculpted the North Carolina Monument at Gettysburg.

Major General George Gordon Meade, at Cemetery Ridge, looking over the site of Pickett's Charge.

Tomorrow, I'm back on the road headed to Hagerstown.
