Day 2 - Leesburg to DeLand

We continued our ride across central Florida today. It was a bit windy and hilly, but the sky was bright blue, the sun was shining and the temperature was perfect. How could that not be a good day on a bike?
I didn't take many pictures. Nothing seemed particularly interesting to me today. We did ride by this huge orange juice processing plant. It is owned by Cutrale and produces orange juice concentrate. Coca Cola gets Minute Maid juice from this plant.
Several miles down the road, we went by one of the Florida's Natural plants. They produce only pure fresh squeezed citrus juices.
North of Leesburg, we rode around Silver Lake. Somehow, my pictures of the lake came out as just a blur. It is a nice small lake, but nothing really beautiful to see. The sights at this lake are the huge homes around it. I got a picture of this one.

Once we got away from Leesburg, we had some very enjoyable rural roads. In one area, we went past what looked like farm or ranch land with nothing on it but widely scattered cacti.
And, finally, a highlight of the day
Today's ride: 51 miles (82 km)
Total: 100 miles (161 km)
