Day 85 Montague, PEI

Back on the bike today, we rode from Charlottetown to Montague. It was another hilly day. But it was sunny all day and comfortably warm, so that was a nice change from our recent rides.
For our Florida readers, look! The Hillsborough River! We crossed it leaving Charlottetown.
The were old bridge pilings in the river just covered with big black birds.
We rode through more miles of farms today and found a new crop in the garden.
Some more agricultural scenes from today

We passed a couple of sheep farms.

We visited the Orwell Corner Historic Village. Unlike many such places we've been, this was a real village and all the buildings were on their original sites. Many buildings from the community were gone because they had burned or been torn down, but nothing was replaced with replicas.

We're in Montague tonight at a very nice B&B. We ate at the old train station down by the Montague River.
Kerry is sleeping soundly and I hate to wake him up to add the map, so I'm going to post this "mapless". We'll get it added later tonight or tomorrow.
Kerry here...
The map is now posted. For those mathematically inclined, today's equation is:
Empty Stomach + Large Beer = Nap Time
If you're ever in Montague, try Copper Bottom Brewing's "Rabble Rouser Red". A very tasty, locally brewed beer.
Today's ride: 43 miles (69 km)
Total: 3,201 miles (5,152 km)
