We had a good ride today from Moncton to Port Elgin. It was very cloudy and we got just a few sprinkles of rain early, but by late afternoon we saw this! It's the first piece of blue sky in two days.
We left Moncton and quickly got out into the country. A farmer was spreading fresh manure on his field as we rode by. It was quite aromatic!

We stopped in the town of Shediac. It has a famous landmark - very popular with photographers.

There are some shops and historical markers near the lobster. We walked around a little and checked things out.

Views of the Northumberland Strait.
And this little guy hanging out in a yard near Grand Barachois is a Minion. Not a subservient follower, but a character from a series of children's movies. (I had to look it up.)
Tomorrow we will shuttle across the Confederation Bridge to start our ten day visit to Prince Edward Island.
Today's ride: 47 miles (76 km)
Total: 3,089 miles (4,971 km)
