Massillon
Massillon is an Ohio city I had never heard of. It's much bigger than I expected, since I expected nothing. It's a crossroads of sorts. Our hotel is next to the Lincoln highway, the first road to cross the continent. Our hotel is also a couple of blocks from the Tuscarawas River, a link on the Ohio Erie canal.
Massillon has some excellent murals.
On our way to Massillon we passed a lot of vegetable fields on a road called Swamp Street. It probably was a swamp at some point, the dark soil reminds me of fields in the Florida Everglades.
