Day 96 Massillon, OH

It was very foggy when we left this morning.  We had some good sized hills and curvy roads and I hate having anything that reduces our visibility to traffic.   I was glad when it burned off and visibility improved.

Here are a few views from the morning.

We saw a number of these oil wells today, some pumping and some not. Kerry's grandmother owned a small share of an oil well on her family farm years ago. Some years it made her several thousand dollars.

We have been looking forward to meeting up with our tandem friends Dave and Marilyn from North Canton.  They rode up to meet us this morning and we all rode to their house for a great lunch.  After visiting and relaxing over all the good food, they rode with us part of the way to Massillon.

Rich McKayWhat an treat to catch Dave and Marilyn in their "natural habitat"! We only get to see them in "the dead of winter" while they're on a tandem migration to the south!

We went past a big area of vegetable farms growing various lettuces, radishes and onion.  Time for salad!
