Day 70 Port Stanley, Ontario

While we didn't have quite the memorable experience today that we did yesterday, it was another good bicycle touring day.

It's so nice to head out in the sunshine!

We are still traveling through farms and saw more corn, soybeans, wheat, tomatoes and onions today.  We also were a little surprised to see some big tobacco fields.  There were probably some other crops that we just didn't recognize.

David HintonHaHa - one of the most photographed houses in Ontario. I have one friend who has photos going back thirty years! The last few years have been really tough on it.

Near Port Stanley, we went by big apple orchards.  Some of them had traditional apple trees.

Then we saw these trees growing on trellises.  That must be a new way to grow apples.

We are in a B&B in Port Stanley tonight and one of the other guests just told Viktoriya not to miss the breakfast, it's one of the best breakfasts she's ever had.  I guess I'll need to change my usual pattern and eat breakfast if it's that good.  I'll let you know tomorrow.

Today's ride: 60 miles (97 km)
Total: 3,235 miles (5,206 km)
