After all the months of planning and anticipation, we finally started Two Far 2018, Trailing Through the Rust Belt today.
Alain's brother and sister-in-law, Geoff and Marty, who have hosted us and fed us superbly for the last three days, rode with us the first 15 miles. We rode on the first of many trails we expect to ride on this summer, the Heritage Rail Trail. At the end of the trail, they headed back home and we and Team A headed for West Liberty.

On our route we discovered two covered bridges.
We stopped and visited the Ohio Caverns, a cavern system first discovered in 1897 and open for public tours since the 1920's. It was 54 degrees inside, not uncomfortable with a jacket.
This was our first long ride on the Seavo. We had a couple of issues with the rear rack and Kerry's seat that we had to deal with. Those new bike issues should get all worked out soon.
Today's ride: 52 miles (84 km)
Total: 52 miles (84 km)
