Staycation
Our 5 day staycation in Falls Church/Washington has ended. Tomorrow morning we will be back on the road. Actually, we will be on a trail, not a road, but we will be moving to a new hotel after spending 5 nights in the Falls Church Econolodge. We will leave with fond memories of the gourmet breakfasts.
Yesterday was our second museum day in Washington. Amazingly, visiting museums is much more tiring than biking for an equivalent amount of time. Today we decided to take a break from Washington. We went for a sort ride on the W&OD trail. It gets even more use on weekends than on weekdays. Even in crowded sections the trail users were good about staying to the right and passing safely. The trail is exceptionally clean, no one seems to litter.
Team A spent some time with Alain's sister. We played a cooperative board game - everyone is part of a team and must cooperate to help the entire team overcome a challenge. We lost twice before we were able to achieve our objective. It's a nice alternative to competitive games. The two times we lost were their fault, the time we won was because of my skill.

In addition to our gourmet Econolodge breakfasts, we have enjoyed Turkish, Vietnamese and Italian food in Falls Church. Our two captains ate enormous lasagna dinners tonight in order to provide enough carbs for our ride tomorrow. Actually, the carbs consumed would be sufficient to get us at least to Pittsburgh. No one is loosing any weight on this trip.
