Sometimes I just sets
We started out this morning heading south on US 98, although team S thinks of it as US 19. We noticed that a maintenance crew had been out trimming trees along the side of the road.

A while later we found out the trees had all been trimmed by a monster machine that had what looked like a 5 armed windmill at the end of a boom. The windmill blades were rotating and could cut through 3 inch branches without missing a beat. We have seen lots of lawn mowing crews, but nothing as impressive as this.
Today was the end of the road for team S. The route we loaded onto our GPSs was labeled "far enough, team S". It was a good thing they were motivated to finish up because it was a hot Florida day.

We didn't see much in the way of crops, but we passed through typical Florida pine forests, including the Goethe state forest. It was so typical I forgot to take a picture.

We stopped on the Withlacoochee trail to celebrate a milestone when team S reached 5,000 miles for this trip. How did we celebrate? We got back on our bikes and headed for a produce stand for some fresh fruit. We had the second juiciest peach of this trip.
All things come to an end, and eventually we rolled up to Jeanna and Kerry's driveway.

This will be a big adjustment for team S. What to do when they wake up in the morning? I'm confident they will be able to adjust. As Jeanna likes to say, "sometimes I sets and thinks, and sometimes I just sets".
