Day 7 in Blackshear
Today was a rest day. We did laundry, attended to personal grooming and explored the town of Blackshear.
As we were walking down the sidewalk, this barber came out of his shop to drum up some business. Alain sat down for a haircut and all four of us enjoyed a memorable experience in the Davis Barber Shop. As Alain said, there was a very high word to cut ratio. Sometimes the barbering ceased completely for a few minutes while the stories flowed.

We walked through the old county courthouse and learned a little about the history of Pierce County.
We walked over to the old jail, inexplicably called the "hanging jail" as we were told no one was ever hanged there.
Our bikes rested happily in the hotel laundry room all day.
