Day 50 in Stratford
We had an outstanding rest day today. We slept late, ate breakfast and went to do the laundry. Then we ate lunch and went to our second play at the Stratford Festival. It was "As You Like It", but set in 1985 Newfoundland. It was just amazing - funny, joyous and filled with toe-tapping, hand-clapping music. They had some entertaining audience participation with props and singing. It was a wonderful afternoon at the theater. After the play, we walked around the Avon riverfront park and flower gardens near the Festival Theater.
Then it was time to eat again, so we enjoyed a leisurely dinner. It has been a perfect day and just as soon as I finish my milkshake, I'll be relay to go to bed looking forward to getting back on the bike in the morning.
