Day 5 Yulee to Folkston, GA
Today we left the coast and headed inland. Instead of ocean views and oceanfront mansions, we had trees and trees and trees and farmhouses. It was a peaceful, relaxing ride. The road were all good and our Florida drivers continued to be very courteous.

We crossed our first state line today and entered Georgia. Kerry was not into having his picture taken to commemorate the moment!
We arrived at our B&B and were warmly welcomed by the owner. The Inn at Folkston is a great place to stay. Since the local restaurants are closed on Sunday, we were invited to get food from the grocery's deli to eat here. We had a nice picnic on the porch.
After dinner we walked over to the Folkston Funnel viewing platform. Around 60 trains a day go through here and it is a very popular place with railfans. We saw a few trains pass, including the Amtrak Auto Train.
Tomorrow we are headed to Blackshear and hope to stay out of the way of Colin.
Today's ride: 44 miles (71 km)
Total: 364 miles (586 km)
