Today was a wonderful cool and lazy day. After the last three long, hot days in the saddle, we were very ready for a day of sleeping in, staying inside in the AC and resting our cycling muscles. We did the usual laundry, bike maintenance and computer/email catch-up. Another hotly contested game of Spades left Alain and Kerry winners. Then Viktoriya, who will tell you she "really isn't competitive at all", gleefully relished her win at Oh Hell.

Tomorrow we will get to North Carolina and visit some of the beach towns Kerry and I used to enjoy. It will be nice to have a short mileage day with time to stop and see things along the way.
