Been there, Dundas
Today we spent our last day in the Niagara region, the fruit capital of Canada. Before we left he region, we did have to stop for some local black currants. They also had red currants, but Viktoriya thought those would be too tart for Americans.

According to Viktoriya currants are extremely healthy. Ukrainians make a jam by mixing 50% currants and 50% sugar. Sounds healthy to me...
We also indulged in some non-local fruit from a Sobeys supermarket. These Abate pears come from Argentina.

We spent a fair amount of time riding next to the QEW on a service road and going through urban/suburban streets. Ontario drivers were remarkably polite and we felt safe even in heavily trafficked areas.

Kerry stopped in to the Main Cycle bike store in Hamilton to deal with a crank issue. Kerry was a lot less cranky after the mechanics fixed the problem.

Since we have been riding next to the Great Lakes for the last week, hydrology has been on our minds.
Question 1) How long would it take a typical water molecule in Lake Superior to flow through the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean?
Question 2) Is there a place in Canada that drains to the oceans via the lower 48 United States?
We got to our destination in Dundas in time for dinner at a Thai restaurant, with a 300 gram chocolate bar for dessert.
