Day 105: Terrebonne, QC to Sainte-Adele, QC
Today was fun. We have a friend who is related to the famous Canadian cyclist and bicycle builder Giuseppe Marinoni. His shop is right off the route we had planned for today, so we were able to visit, meet him, his wife and son and get a personal tour of the manufacturing facility.

It was so interesting to see the bikes being built. All their steel frames are hand built right there.
The Marinois and their staff there were interested in our bike as well and came outside to check it out.
After leaving Marinoni's, we stopped at a convenience store for a snack and drink. I asked for the washroom and was handed this. Kerry wondered whether he was supposed to use the container or the key.
The second half of our ride was on bike trails. We picked up the Basses Laurentides trail about ten miles south of St. Jerome. It is all paved and was good to ride, except Kerry doesn't like the frequent road crossings and tight turns. That trail connects to the P'tit Train du Nord in St. Jerome. It is, I believe, Quebec's premiere cycling trail. It has excellent facilities and services and was very busy in the St. Jerome area. We love to be in places full of cyclists. It must be that "finding our tribe" thing that humans need.

Tomorrow we have friends from Montreal meeting us to ride with us up to Mont Tremblant where we will stay in their chalet for two days. We are really looking forward to that!
Today's ride: 49 miles (79 km)
Total: 4,216 miles (6,785 km)
