Putting our bike together

Today is the day we start to put our bike together. We are starting to get over jet lag and feel that it is time to see if anything was damaged on the flight. Justus is very mechanically inclined and he is particularly good at working on bikes, so we took advantage of his skills. We appreciated his help.

Some specialties of the region for lunch: venison, spaetzle with hunter sauce and white asparagus with hollandaise sauce. Exceptional. The white asparagus was a real treat.

You always hope that all of the pieces are in the bag. The S&S couplers allow the bike to be split in two to make it more transportable.
