Met these 2 while walking to the grocery store. He is from the Netherlands and she from the UK. They are doing the Great Divide. They went from south to north so should be in Banff soon

When  we got up this morning it was really chilly. Luckily we both slept pretty well as I don’t usually sleep when we have to camp. As we started out we had an incline right from the beginning. Seeing we didn’t have the sun on us we had to double up on jackets and put hats and gloves on. We knew we didn’t have a long ride today but weren’t happy when we saw that we would have 11 climbs. After yesterday’s 14 climbs I wasn’t thrilled to hear this. It seems we don’t get good downhill rewards after a lot of climbs which sucks. The traffic wasn’t bad today so that helped. The closer we got to Eureka the more the traffic picked up. We got to one point where we did not have any shoulder at all and we were on a downhill. I have to admit, I was scared. Cars were zooming by and one car slowed up and yelled out something g to us. I didn’t understand what she said at first but then realized that she there was a bike path on the left. What a relief that was to get off the shoulder less busy road. We got in early and stopped for lunch before we got to the motel. It felt great to be able to take a shower. The motel itself does not have a laundry but the tv resort behind us did. So we dropped off the laundry and then walked to the grocery store to get supplies. By the time we got back the laundry was done and then we went to dinner. I hope I can get the pictures to come on this post as I couldn’t get many for yesterdays as I am doing 2 days in one. Sorry,  o pictures. Hopefully I can add them tomorrow

PS Hubs went to the Casino here at the motel with 10.00 and won 238.00. Yay Hubs!

Today's ride: 27 miles (43 km)
Total: 2,985 miles (4,804 km)

Drew ButlerTo Drew ButlerWhitefish a cool place.
Kalispell is 10 miles away and you have to try Backslope Brewery. Worth the stop on the way to Glaciers NP.
After 500+ miles I am sure you will enjoy the IPAs but the food is awesome -so good last year we ate there twice in 4 days.
