Our route as we hit the home stretch into Amsterdam passes through several provinces, like North Brabant, Gelderland, and Utrecht as well as South Holland. Netherlands is often called "Holland", but actually North and South Holland are only two of a dozen provinces.  The whole country is small but there are noticeable differences among regions. The route will take us through new territory, which will be interesting, and of course there is the unique and wonderful Amsterdam.

In Amsterdam we will join our friends, the Paxmans, and set off for a couple of days' spin through windmills, cheese factories, canals, and old time buildings in North Holland.
