Laem Sing to Ko Chang: Elephant Island
The rain bucketed down for most of last night and was still at it when we woke up this morning. We got on the bicycles at about ten past seven and started on our way down the Sukhimvit Road towards Trat. It seems that the rain and Sunday had kept all the food vendors in their beds because we didn't manage to find any food until almost thirty kilometers into the ride. This turned out to be a dry green pork curry, a nice change. Soon after that we turned off the Sukhimvit Road towards the coast from where we would catch the ferry to Ko Chang.

Tomorrow is Leigh's birthday, so we have booked into a nice little resort called Serenity on the quiet northern coast of Ko Chang for a couple of days.
Today's ride: 66 km (41 miles)
Total: 5,840 km (3,627 miles)
